Drifting

".....it can be anticipated that the probe could drift anywhere from 6 days to 6 years on the seas of this new world before eventually being swept onto a land mass.
During this period of drifting the probe will send data regarding fluid temperatrure, density and chemical makeup back to Earth along with tidal and wind patterns."
